A summer retreat

On arrival at Rieplechn Farm, all guests will, first of all, receive a guided tour of the farm, to get to know our buildings and stables. Children are always very excited when they catch a glimpse of the farm animals, not to mention the many fun and free time activities.

In summer there is ample opportunity for anyone wishing to be a farmer themselves. Every helping hand is needed when the hay is to be gathered and brought in. Everyone can muck in. Children can ride with farmer Sebastian, on a lap with the tractor and enjoy themselves bouncing around barefoot in the soft hay.

In our play-ground, children can caper around or explore the tree house in the forest.

The fully ripe raspberry, red currant, strawberry and forest bilberry fruits also have to be gathered and made into jam or syrup. Of course, the fruits may also be nibbled on while doing so. The crops from the lovingly-maintained farm garden must also be gathered and brought in. The aromatic herbs are dried to make exquisite teas. Each guest may take some dried herbs home with them as a small souvenir for their own personal use.

Anyone who does not find it too hot can bask in the blazing sun on the comfortable garden furniture or on the green garden lawns. However, those who prefer shaded spots will find them on a snug wooden bench under our cherry tree or by taking a stroll through the pleasantly cool forest.

A homely barbecue evening on our terrace, with the setting of the sun and mild temperatures can bring your eventful days to a close in a quite special way. We will provide you with the wood for the barbecue grill. Who can resist well-barbecued sausages?

In our cosy accommodation, with fresh, clear country air, you will have a pleasant nights sleep, and feel fit for the next day of your holiday. Nature conservation parks, lakes, waterfalls and numerous “three thousand” peaks will also ensure that you keep a cool head on hot summer days.

Time permitting, we will also gladly accompany you to our Alpine hut in summer.
