Who amongst us does not look forward to spring? Everywhere is flourishing, turning green and blossoming. On your holiday at the farm you will feel alive.

Spring is, therefore, an ideal season in which to plan your farm holiday. Nature is waking up and coming to life again following a long winter and the animals on the farm and in the forest are having their offspring. With any luck you will experience the birth of young kittens. After a few weeks they slowly begin to open their eyes and venture on their first tentative steps. That will thrill children and parents alike.

The Rieplechn Farm is situated in a glorious, secluded location and, therefore, the wonder of the flora and fauna can be experienced up close in a quite special way. Daffodils, coltsfoots and snowdrops spread out towards the sun. Month after month new plants bloom and result in a spectacular frenzy of colours. Apple, cherry and apricot trees blossom and attract bee colonies and bumblebees. Photographers and friends of nature and animals will all get their money’s worth.

In the dense woods the birds can be heard chirping, the first rays of sun titillate the nose and a gentle wind rustles through the leaves. An irrepressible desire for movement and the pure Alpine air will motivate you into the pursuit of eventful rambles.

The pre-sprouted seed potatoes below the earth are also beginning to emerge in spring. However, the soil first has to be loosened with a plough. Children are welcome to muck in so that there is something to pick in the autumn. The farm garden must also be spruced up again.
